In no more than 500 words, write about your character as if you were a reporter. The reporter can be on a show like TMZ, or the local news, or the reporter could even be on a reporting show like Access Hollywood. Your character could even be talked about on a talk show like Dr. Phil.
Think about what your character did to get on this show. Also, your character cannot explain his or her self. The only way the reader is meeting your character is by hearing what a news reporter has to say about him or her.
The point of this exercise is to help you see your character through one traumatic event. The character isn’t allowed to speak and the only information given is by a third party who was nowhere near the event when it happened.
